About WSST

The Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers was founded in 1958. Today it is the largest Wisconsin organization of individuals interested in the advancement of science education. WSST's purpose is to promote, support and improve science education in the state of Wisconsin by providing leadership, advocacy, and programs to enhance the teaching and learning of science.

WSST works in cooperation with: Wisconsin Elementary Science Teachers (WEST), Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI), Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC), Wisconsin Earth Science Teachers Association (WESTA), BioNet, Wisconsin Association of Physics Teachers (WAPT), Wisconsin Technology Education Association (WTEA), Wisconsin Science Network (WSN), Wisconsin Science Education Leadership Association (WSELA), and the Wisconsin Science Congress.

The Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers is a chapter of the National Science Teachers Association.
