TechAdventure Kids Camp is a brand-new science camp that will be held July 27, 28 and 29, 2011 at the Oshkosh Community Y – 20th Avenue location.  This program is a partnership between the Oshkosh Community Y and Wave Robotics (FIRST Team #2826).  It is being promoted by EAA and is designed for both local students and students who are attending EAA with their families. 
 
The camp is educational, designed to expose students ages 8-15 to aviation, robotics and physical sciences through a hands-on curriculum that engages students in learning.  Wave Robotics Team members, parents and volunteers will staff the camp, assisting with instruction.  
 
They are looking for a science educator to develop the camp curriculum and lead instruction that challenges participants to identify a problem, solve it and present a solution using teamwork and cooperation.  A $1500 stipend is available.
