UW Oshkosh Summer 2010 Modeling Method Courses
Quality professional development for physics and physical science 
teachers (grades 9-12)

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Department of Physics/Astronomy 
is proud to announce three (3) specialized courses in the Modeling 
Method of Instruction for physics and physical science teachers. 
On-campus sessions occur once per week for 8 weeks (June 14 to 
August 6, 2010).

Waves and Fields for Teachers, 5 credits, Mondays, 8 am - 1 pm
Optics for Teachers, 5 credits, Tuesdays, 8 am - 1 pm
Classical Mechanics for Teachers, 5 credits, Wednesdays, 8 am - 1 pm

Modeling Instruction is designated as an Exemplary K-12 science 
program by the U.S. Department of Education. Coursework leads to a 
Master's Degree with an emphasis in Physics Education.
