Set Sail on a 3-hour voyage of learning and discovery of the Greats Lakes

Set Sail on a 3-hour voyage of learning and discovery of the Greats Lakes and the S/V Denis Sullivan. In smalls groups, students explore five inquiry-based learning stations. Students collect, record, and analyze data samples to deepen their understanding of the interdependence of living and non-living components of the Great Lakes. IN addition to the five learning stations, students are challenged to raise 4,000 square feet of sail under the guidance of the professional crew.

The Midwest Alliance is eager to share new and exciting internships, camps, and enrichment activities that are on the horizon.

With spring just around the corner, it’s never too early to start thinking about summer fun!
