For more than a decade I have been actively pursuing paleontology. In the summer I often travel to Kansas or South Dakota with teachers and students to do excavate fossils. We dig marine reptiles in Kansas and duckbill dinosaurs in South Dakota. During the school year my geology students prep the bones using the professional grade prep equipment purchased with a Toyota TAPESTRY grant from 1999.

I employ inquiry science in all of what I teach - weather, geology, astronomy, and physics. I began teaching in 1980 and look forward to perfecting my craft in the years to come.

I have been an active member of WSST since the mid 1980's.
