Bio

I am a science outreach person at UW-Madison with the Institute for Biology Education as well as with the Education Outreach and Partnerships office in the School of Education. I have been back at UW-Madison since 1996. I am an active member of WSST, NSTA (National Science Teachers Association), NABT (National Association of Biology Teachers), NSELA (National Science Education Leadership Association), ASCD (formerly known as Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development), and WSELA (Wisconsin Science Education Leadership Association). I am a plant physiologist/plant biochemist by training, have worked in informal education (Minnesota Zoological Gardens and Olbrich Botanical Gardens), and taught undergraduates at Grinnell College.
