It Takes A Village: The environmental education field has always been stronger together. With climate change already impacting the state, it’s incumbent on all of us to build bridges beyond our own organizations. Let’s take some time to share ways we can connect, and what it all means for the future of our planet.

Ways Of Knowing: People have many ways to connect with the world around them, and that knowledge deserves to be shared and celebrated. As individuals, we don’t know everything, but collectively we know much, and are better able to tackle complex issues. Let’s take the opportunity to come together and share our perspectives as we work for a better future.

Windows Into Our Worlds: We’re all doing good work as environmental educators, and good work is worth sharing, so let's do that! In this strand, we’ll share programs and practices from throughout our diverse communities. By bringing to light our successes and challenges alike, we can all make our good works even better.

All attendees have the option of attending the full conference, the virtual day only, the first in-person day only, or the second in-person day only. Virtual presentations will be recorded and shared with permission with those who purchase a registration that includes the virtual day. WAEE’s virtual Celebration of Excellence remains free and open to the public, with a suggested donation; it will be recorded and posted to WAEE's website for a full year.

For your information: "The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is launching an online program for Wisconsinites to get free at-home rapid COVID-19 tests delivered directly to them. Starting 9/1/22, Wisconsin residents can go to the Say Yes! COVID Test website and place an order for a package of five rapid antigen COVID-19 tests at no cost. Initial supplies will allow each household to order one package that will arrive in 1-2 weeks."
