WAEE BOOK STUDY FALL 2022: FREE ZOOM REGISTRATION

The WAEE Community had such a great time at the summer book study that we decided to continue the book study idea throughout the school year. We invite you to join us this Fall as we read Black Faces, White Spaces: Reimagining the Relationship of African Americans to the Great Outdoors by Carolyn Finney. This informal book study can broaden your understanding and awareness of the issues surrounding access and inclusion for people of color in the great outdoors by considering the historical perspective of African Americans. This is a good way to begin to have conversations outside (pun intended) of JEDI trainings and meetings. If you are unable to attend 1 or more meetings, we hope you will still find time to read the book.
